Jiddu Krishnamurti For The Win!

I saw a quote once that significantly encompasses why I behave the way I do towards things like trends (regardless in what field) and conventions.

I believe that, if applied, deals with problems from a proactive stance rather than a reactive one (cause level than an effect).

See, society seems to be stuck in being so busy dealing with reactive things (crime, poverty, corruption and so on) that proactive ones can never become part of the agenda.
It’s what I once heard referred to as “being so busy dealing with urgent that we can’t do what’s IMPORTANT” – the person from which I heard didn’t necessarily stress what I did; but he’s not the one writing this, is he (this is a rhetorical question – figured since you let your governments and corporations always tell you what to think, you may have lost the ability to do so independently, so I’m just here to help you *wink*)

I believe the quote says: “Think before you buy what you don’t need, question before you blindly obey what you’re told by those in power – yes, even if it is YOU who are in power.”

If you don’t know Jiddu Krishnamurti, google him, read some of his work – you’ll probably thank me, but that’s not why I’m telling you to do so.

We don’t have race, country or continent problems, we have HUMAN problems and it’s spreading such thinking that will get us to start working on them:

This Awful Throw Away Culture

I don’t understand littering – if it were something normal, we’d do it in our houses and have other people that pick up after us.
I don’t know about you, but I’m not one for living under such conditions.

I hate how nonchalant people are about it, on some “it’s already dirty, if they don’t care, why should I?”

Try: because someone made sure they kept it clean enough for you initially; not to mention, the fact that someone’s a dick doesn’t give you the right – or even just an excuse – to be one too.

Pick up after yourselves – the world’s overpopulated but it doesn’t need to be overpopulated AND dirty.

Keep the world as clean as you would like your house to be – watch some Youtube videos on cleanliness if you don’t know what a clean place looks like.

This throw-away culture’s not cool, let’s at least throw it away properly – in the BIN.

And now for today’s post. 7 Golden Rules of Blogging.

The Smoker and the Non-smoker

I’ve told you guys about my Head Movies, right?
Well, they’re exactly what the name suggests – scenes that I think up.

I know, right? Who woulda thunk it?!?! *Southern American voice*

Here’s one of my Head Movies:

“Hey, please gimme five bones [currency, not those things you eat calcium to make stronger] so I can buy some air time”

“Nah man. You know, if you stopped smoking, you’d have enough money for all the air time you want!”

“Yeah, but then I’d just use all that
air time to tell you what dick you are!”

The Wedding Part 1

Have you guys seen Trophy Wife??
You should. It’s funny and has the second cutest kid (Lily from Modern Family being number one) on TV.
Here are some moments from The Wedding Episode Part 1 that I thoroughly enjoyed:

“Why do you guys still have a VCR??”

“Because technology’s cyclical: think about fire – people are using that again.”

Hahahahaha. This guy says more “on point” things but this was the best one

“Russ, maybe it’s time we stop sneaking around and we’re open about our relationship”

“I’ve been waiting two years to hear you say that”

I don’t know if I could be a secret for two years – a year, eleven months, three weeks and six days is where I draw the line!!!

Bert (the second cutest kid on tele) shuts Steve (his Mom’s new boyfriend) down for getting too comfortable too soon with him – this is a “you had to be there kind of moment”

Things come in threes, right?! *Illuminati voice*
Hope you get to watch this episode and let me know what your favourite parts were *secretly knows these three will be included*

I think a lot – this is problem for some people. . .
I tend to not care about that.

I think mostly about conventions, institutions, movies, music, photography, television shows, advertising, books, events, atheism, sports, women and sex – because I’m heterosexual man and we apparently do that (you know, faktriarchy – it’s a combination of “fake” and “patriarchy” and it’s not because I think patriarchy is fake, I just don’t agree with it so I’m discrediting it).

This was just to tell you that – because I’m random and I wanted to write something.
This usually happens when those two things combine and there’s a computer with internet connection near me.
